Obituary for Leasa Michelle Salter Leasa Michelle Salter, 42 passed from this life on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at her home in Gautier. She was born February 26, 1976 in Pascagoula. Leasa worked as a teacher’s assistant at Gautier Middle School.

She loved the outdoors, going fishing but most of all, she loved being a mother and was a wonderful friend to everyone who knew her. Leasa was preceded in death by her daughter, Hayleigh Noelle Harrell-Suthoff; mother, Pamela Kay Suthoff; sister, Becky Sellers; sister-in-law, Robin Salter; brother-in-law, Mark Salter; and grandparents, Cleveland Harrell, J.T. & Pat Smith and A.B. and Cora Suthoff. Survivors include her parents, Garry Wayne and Coral Ann Harrell, Bernard and Pattie Suthoff; her son, Zachary Lee Salter; former husband, Tim Salter; sisters, Pamela Leigh Shelton, Leigh Ann Blanchard and Candice Blanchard Damien; brother and sister-in-law, Rusty and Anna Suthoff; sister and brother-in-law, Callie and Brian Hudson; brothers, Eddie Suthoff and Kenneth Blanchard, Jr.; aunt and uncle, Susan and Troy Dees; uncle and aunt, Bobby and Mary Harrell; uncle and aunt, John and Sheila Lee; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Rick Salter; grandmother, Virginia Harrell; and numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives and many, many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 9:00 until 11:00am at the Community of Christ Church in Escatawpa. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am with Rev. Teddy Turrentine and Elder Terry Breland officiating.

Interment will follow at Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point, Mississippi. Serving as pallbearers will be Byron Dees, Cody Davis, Michael Broome, Brandon Deihl, Doug Rowell, Brian Vance and Jay Fike. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Haven of Hope, P.O. Box 8504 Mobile, Alabama 36689.
