Obituary for Lee Kirkpatrick (Kirkpatrick) Print Lee L. “Rusty” Kirkpatrick, 86, of Dubuque, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at home. A visitation will be held from 10am- 12pm. , Friday, February 8 at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 JFK Road.

Committal services will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, where Military Honors will be conducted by the Dubuque Marine Corps League. Lee was born on January 23, 1933 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Lloyd and Ruth (Foley) Kirkpatrick.

He married Barbara A. Kelly on September 7, 1957 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on November 14, 2008. Lee served our country in the United States Marine Corps League during the Korean Conflict.

He worked at Flexsteel for many years. He enjoyed bowling, traveling and spending winters in South Padre Island, Texas. He is survived by his children, Mary Jo (Gary) Anderson, Karen (John) Rogan, and Mike (Carolyn) Kirkpatrick, all of Dubuque, and Kathy (Bruce) Neyens, of Lewisville, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn Kirkpatrick and Janet Conry; and a brother-in-law, John E. Kelly (Karen Caldwell).

He was also preceded in death by his parents; his son, James Kirkpatrick; and his brother-in-law, Tom Conry. Memorial may be given to Hospice of Dubuque. Special thank you to Hospice of Dubuque for their compassionate care.
