Obituary for Leila Mae Talley Born on March 21, 1932 from the union of Albert and Pearl Kimbro Moore, daughter. Leila Mae Moore Talley, went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2018. She was preceded in death by parents: Albert and Pearl Moore, Husband, John Will Talley, Daughter: Angela Talley, Sisters; Jeanette (Bill); Alice (John) Tolliver of Grand Rapids Michigan, Carrie (Wayne) Johnson, and Annie Mae (Calvin) Goins of Harriman, Tennessee, Brothers: Jack, Albert “June” Moore, Walter B. Moore, Sam (Susie) Bill Moore, George (Surviving wife Oneita) Moore, Richard (surviving wife Dottie) Moore.
Leila Mae Talley was a faithful member of New Century United Methodist Church, Harriman, Tennessee. She was the Communion Steward Chair for many years, a member of the United Methodist Women and worked on the Mission and the Kitchen Committee until her health begin to fail. Leila was a kind spirited Child of God and will be missed by neighbors and friends.
She worked at Kaiser Factory, the Burlington Hosiery Mill for many years and as a caretaker for her family, and the community. She leaves to cherish her memory: five daughters: Johnnie Earl Price, Chicago, Il. ; Mae Francis; Chicago, Il.

; Elizabeth Ann Talley; Tucker, Georgia. ; three sons: Herbert Talley (Deb); Loudon, Tn. ; Tim Talley, Powell, Tn.
; Damon Talley, Harriman, TN. ; grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; sisters in law: Dorothy Moore, Oneita Moore, Bernice Harris (Oscar Lee); Edna “Tootie” Jackson, Vivian Chatman, Lovejoy, Il; devoted niece, Debra (Larry) Wells, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends at the Kyker Funeral Home Chapel in Harriman from 12pm until 1pm, Saturday April 14, 2018 with funeral to follow, Rev.
Gary L. Atwater, officiating. Following the funeral the family will proceed to Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee for the graveside service. Kyker Funeral Home of Harriman serving the Talley family.
