Obituary for Shane Edward Melton Shane Melton, age 45, of Harriman, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018. He was a member of Lee Village Baptist Church. Shane was a 1990 graduate of Harriman High School, attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and was employed by ARG in Rockwood.

He loved Alabama football (Roll Tide! ! ).

He is preceded in death by his dad, Johnny E. Melton; grandparents, Lloyd (Poppa) Fritts and Roy & Bonnie Melton; and uncle, Elbert Melton. Shane is survived by his mother, Rhonda Melton (Dennis Howell); daughter, Isabella Haven McPeters; sister, Brooke Kelley (Jack); aunts, Robin Bryant and Mary Melton Holley (Buddy); uncles, Lloyd Fritts, Tommy Melton and Steve Melton; gammaw, Betty Fritts; nephew, Mason Kelley; special cousins, Morgan James (Chris), Lyndsey Bryant, Landon & Kylie James; life-long friends, David Whaley, Mike Jones and Bryan Qualls; and many other close friends and family members. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 21, from 5 – 6 p.m., at Lee Village Baptist Church in Harriman.

A Memorial Service will follow at 6 p.m. with Matt Cannon officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Lee Village Baptist Church Family Life Center. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Shane Edward Melton please visit our Sympathy Store.
