Memorial service for Lenell Doris (Amos) Rodgers, age 69, of Decatur, will be announced in the very near future by Shelton Funeral Home. Ms. Rodgers, who died Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at River City Center, was born June 27, 1949, in Rockford, GA, to Clyde Amos and Doris Benefield Amos. She is survived by one son, Jimmy Rodgers of Scottsboro; one daughter, Melissa Collins of Decatur; one sister, Sue Mitchell of Scottsboro; four grandchildren, Cassandra Collins of Huntsville, Jonathon Collins and Trinity Collins, both of Georgetown, IL, and Amber Rodgers of Jackson County; and two great-grandchildren.
