Lue Eddie Borden, age 87, of Decatur went home to be with the Lord on July 14, 2018. Lue Eddie was a member of Oak Park Church of God. She retired from Decatur General Hospital after 25 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband Homer Borden, her parents, three sisters, and one brother. She is survived by her children Eddie (Janet), Bradley (Sharon), Bobby (Deborah), Judy (Mervin), Jeffrey (Joan), and Daris (Michele), twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, two sisters, and two brothers. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Shelton Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at New Center Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
