Funeral service for Ulysses Grant Richey, age 82, of Decatur, will be Saturday, July 14, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Benny Sivley officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service.

Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mr. Richey, who died Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at NHC Healthcare, Moulton, was born February 4, 1936, in Tuscumbia, to Gurley Richey and Lena Rainey Richey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kathryn (Yoder) Richey.

Prior to retirement, he worked as a draw bench operator at Wolverine Tube. He is survived by his son, Terry Richey (Ginger) of Trinity; and grandson, Collin Richey, of Trinity. Pallbearers will be Brian Christianson, Chris Christianson, Joe Kelly, Robbie Albano, Matt Balch, and Mike Holloway.
