Leon Jerome Cavins, Sr. passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018. He was born January 1, 1934 in Avon, Kentucky to the late Buford and Mary Winkfield Cavins. Mr. Cavins was a member of Uttinger Baptist Church and was a Supervisor at Link Belt.

He was a godly man and the best earthly father. He loved to go fishing, gardening, going to the Farmers Market, meeting people and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Ann Cavins; son, Henderson Price, Jr., siblings, Grace Elizabeth Smith, Fannie Cavins, Mattie Bee Cavins, Dorothy Cavins, Sis Cavins, Buford Cavins, Jr., and Stanley Cavins. Visitation will be 1-3 PM, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing with a service to follow at 3 PM. Burial will take place at Blue Grass Memorial Garden.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fayette County Humane Society.
