Lesli Lynn Wright, June 16, 1976 — June 21, 2018

Obituary for Lesli Lynn Wright Lesli Lynn Wright, 42, of Oskaloosa, died peacefully at her parents’ home in Oskaloosa on Thursday, June 21, 2018. She was born June 16, 1976, in Oskaloosa the daughter of Lee and Connie Wymore Wright. While in high school Lesli worked at Wendy’s and later at Econo-Foods.

She was also active in drama and debate while in school. She graduated with honors from Oskaloosa High School with the class of 1994. Following graduation Lesli was in an automobile accident that left her disabled.

After extensive rehabilitation she moved home with her parents. Her mom and dad were committed to keeping Lesli in their home and tending to her every need. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Oskaloosa.

She enjoyed reading, listening to music and singing. She also loved her pets. Her family includes her parents, Lee and Connie Wright of Oskaloosa; her sister, Jodi (Brad) Cullinan of Cedar Rapids; a nephew, Trenton Cullinan; a niece, Kendra Cullinan; her maternal grandmother, Joann Wymore of Oskaloosa; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lesli was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bob Wymore; her paternal grandmother, Bette Wright; and an aunt, Jaqueline Wymore. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 25, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with Reverend Del Bittner officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa.

The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will begin at 12 noon on Sunday in the Bates Funeral Chapel and the family will be at the funeral chapel from 1-3 Sunday afternoon to greet friends and relatives. Memorials may be made to the family.
