Lester A. Schneck, Sr., 94, of Jonestown, passed away on Friday, February 01, 2019, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of the late Margaret N. Houtz Schneck. Born in Pine Grove on May 10, 1924, he was the son of the late Gordon and Amanda Glore Schneck.

For 11 years, he had worked for Lebanon Chemical and after 20 years he retired from Whitmoyer Labs in Myerstown. He enjoyed flea markets, yard sales, hunting and fishing. He was an avid Phillies fan and a big Ford man.

He is survived by his sons Lester A. and his wife Barb Schneck of Palatka, FL and Larry P. Schneck of S. Lebanon Twp. ; daughters Judy A. wife of Herman Leffler of Jonestown, Rose M. Weaver of Robesonia and Anne L. Reider of Charlotte, NC; ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his brothers Stanley, Allen, Martin, Glenn, Russell, Harvey and Earl Schneck and a sister Grace Umbenhauer.

A viewing for Lester will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019, from 10-11 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd. , Jonestown.
