Lester Martin “Jug” Lewis, Jr., 65, of Loch Lynn, MD, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at his home. Born October 31, 1953, in Oakland, MD, he was the son of the late Lester Martin and Glendean Farrell Lewis, Sr He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lena Bell Lewis.

Lester worked as a laborer at the Sterling Processing Plant. He enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, fishing and spending time outdoors. He is survived by one son, Jason Lewis; one brother, William Lewis and wife, Patricia, Oakland; four sisters, Linda DeWitt and husband, Jerry, Oakland; Carol McRobie, Oakland; Susan Savage, Friendsville, MD: Beverly Patton, Loch Lynn, MD; numerous nieces and nephews.

At Lester’s request, he will be cremated and all services are private. Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Dr., Oakland, MD 21550, is in charge of his arrangements. Condolences may be sent to his family at www.
