OBITUARY Lester Raymond Golden Jr. April 6, 1944 – December 10, 2018 Lester Raymond Golden, Jr., 74, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018. A Celebration of his Life will be held 1:00 PM Thursday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

The family will greet friends beginning at 12:00 Noon. Mr. Golden was born in Tifton, Georgia the son of the late Eliza Newbern and Lester Raymond Golden, Sr. and was the widower of Mavis Hinson Golden. He was a former police officer for the City of Macon, worked at RAFB, and was retired from the Mercer University Police Department.

Mr. Golden was a United States Army veteran. Mr. Golden is survived by his children, Deborah Morris of Macon, Cindy Fennell of Macon, and Deron Davis (Lelia) of Griffin; grandchildren, Brandi Hinshaw (Jeremy), Katlyn Guin, Will Davis, and Matt Davis; great-grandchildren, Graham and Murphy Hinshaw; siblings, Tom Golden (Linda), Sandra Woodard (Ronnie), Mareitha Golden Hodgins, Giraud Golden (Theresa); beloved nieces and nephews.
