Obituary of Lester Milligan Lester L. Milligan, age 86, of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. Lester was born on November 26, 1932 in East Alton, Illinois. He was the son of Lester C. and Marie (Miller) Milligan.

On April 14, 1956 in Pomona, California, Lester was united in marriage to Maureen Simakoff. Together they have shared over 62 years of marriage at the time of his death. Lester served his country proudly in the United States Navy.

He worked for many years in the accounting business as a Public Accountant. Lester became a very active and dedicated member of his community here at the Lake. He was a former member of the Rotary Club in Lake Ozark, volunteered regularly at the Senior Center in Osage Beach and served as a volunteer docent at the Willmore Lodge.

Lester was an avid Cardinal fan and truly enjoyed the Lake life. He was a member of the Lake Ozark Christian Church and served as its Treasurer. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his beloved family.

He is survived by his wife Maureen, sons Paul Edward Milligan (Linda) of High Ridge, Missouri and Danny Milligan (Tracy Jane) of Fenton, Missouri; daughters Judy Ruby (Scott) of Estes Park, Colorado and Lisa Rogoz (Michael) of Herculaneum, Missouri; brother Ronald Milligan (Betsy) of Carson City, Nevada; 10 grandchildren, Laura, Aaron, Janey, Alex, Kyle, David, Joshua, Michael Jr., Adam and Stephen; 1 great grandson Koltyn; along with many other relatives and friends. Lester was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Marie Milligan and one grandson, Brian Ruby. Service will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Lake Ozark Christian Church, Lake Ozark, Missouri.

The family will welcome friends for visitation from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at the Veterans Wall, Lake Memorial Gardens, Osage Beach, Missouri. Memorials are suggested to the Lake Ozark Christian Church, 1560 Bagnell Dam Blvd.
