Obituary for Lilia Vea Domingsil 72, Lilia Vea Domingsil of Honolulu, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018. She was born on June 17, 1946 in her hometown of Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She had 4 other siblings, but luckily for her, she was the baby of the bunch.
Lilia did attend school all the way up to High School level where she finished with her diploma. Soon after graduation, she began her career as a Housekeeper and Supervisor for Outrigger Hotels. Lilia was such a loyal and very dependable worker who loved her job, especially since she stayed employed with them for 44 long years of service, finally retiring in 2015.
Lilia was married to the love her life, her loving husband of 55 years, Eliseo M. Domingsil. During her retired days she stayed home and continued to help take care of her families needs. She was a very fun, loving, caring, selfless, beautiful and amazing woman, who enjoyed celebrations of all kinds.
Like most women, Lilia enjoyed cooking for her family, traveling and making memories. Without a doubt Lilia was welcoming to all, extremely well-liked with such a big, beautiful , giving heart of gold. Lilia was also a member at St. Theresa’s Church, and her favorite scripture was The Lord’s Prayer: Our Father who art in Heaven hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen. Lilia is survived by her loving husband: Eliseo M. Domingsil; Daughters: Bella (Nathan) Kinoshita, Tess (Ty) Tynan, Nancy (Rod) Amano, and Elsie (Jason Gist) Domingsil; Sisters: Romelia Cadiente and Del Agag; Also 8 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Services for Lilia will be held on Monday, October 01, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am; Service: 10:00 am with lunch to follow. Burial: 1:00 pm at Valley of The Temples.
