Lillian H. Tanner, age 91, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Wednesday May 23, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Tanner was born on July 16, 1926 in Coffee County, GA the daughter of the late James Monroe Henderson and Roseann Waldron Henderson. She worked on the family farm, worked at Sunbelt Nursery’s for many years, was a homemaker and attended Forest Grove Baptist Church, Nicholls, GA.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Vickers and husband Jerry of Nicholls, GA and Sherry Jacobs and husband Danny of Bickley, GA; son, Victor Tanner of Nicholls, GA; seven grandchildren, Miranda Vickers, Martin Vickers and Wife Julie, Ryan Tanner and wife Amelia, Jade Tanner, Rita Dezarn and husband Craig, Chanda Thompson and husband Robert and Amelia Shannon-Reasoner and husband Barry; four great grandchildren, Gabby Dezarn, Cassandra Dezarn, Ruby Reasoner and Paysen Ballard; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 26, 2018 at 11:00am at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donnie Kirkland officiating.

Interment will follow in Forest Grove Cemetery, Nicholls, GA. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Sims Funeral Home. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.
