Obituary for Lillian Mary Wheeler Lillian Mary Wheeler, 89, of Pittsfield, passed away November 26, 2018 at Mount Carmel Care Center in Lenox, where she resided for two weeks. Born in Pittsfield on September 14, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Secundo and Maria Bauchiero Torrero. She was a graduate of Pittsfield High School and immediately became employed at General Electric Ordinance, where she worked for many years until her retirement.

She was married to the late Richard E. Wheeler, for 47 years, until his death on December 17, 2004. A communicant of the former All Souls Church and Sacred Heart Church, she was a dedicated member of the All Souls Ladies Society and the church choir. She belonged to the Italian American Club and was an office volunteer at HospiceCare in The Berkshires.

Mrs. Wheeler leaves behind her niece and caregiver, Patricia Kellar and husband George of Lanesborough; nephew Richard DeVergilio and wife Betsy of Barnstable, MA; and many beloved family members and friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers at HospiceCare in The Berkshires and Mount Carmel Care Center for their compassionate care. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Mrs. Wheeler will be held Monday, December 3, 2018 with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, celebrated by Rev.

Michael Bernier, Pastor. Burial will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Lenox. There are no calling hours.
