Obituary for Tina Marie Virgilio Tina Marie Virgilio, 56, of Hinsdale, MA, passed away on November 17, 2018. She was born on April 7, 1962, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, to Ann Marie Valentine Falco and Joseph Rose. Tina was lovingly raised by Anthony Q. and Shirley A. Testone.
She was a 1980 graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School. Tina married her husband of 34 years, Kevin E. Virgilio, on May 19, 1984. Over the years, Tina worked in the service of others at an inn, the Marian Fathers Monastery in Stockbridge, MA, in daycare, in schools, and most recently in housekeeping in nursing and elderly care.
She finished a Nursing Assistant Course and Cross-Over Home Health Aide Training Program through Berkshire Health Systems and Berkshire Community College and graduated successfully on October 6, 2018. She tested for a certification as a Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant on November 6, 2018. She left this world before learning the results of her CNA examination, but her family could not be prouder of her achievements.
Tina Marie Virgilio was a true Christian, unwavering in her faith and grace with God. She was generous with her time and talents. Over the years, she participated in many charitable donations or events including the CROP Hunger Walks, teaching Sunday School, and singing in the choirs of the First Congregational Church of Dalton and Reigning Love Church of Pittsfield.
Most recently she dressed up her beloved Yorkies for Halloween to visit elderly residents at her place of employment in Pittsfield on her day off. She enjoyed reading, music, singing, painting, gardening, bible study, and discussing scripture with friends and family. She was dearly loved by her family and will be eternally missed.
Her husband and children will remember her smile, laughter, and warm embrace. She was loved by all who knew her. She was a kind, compassionate, and generous soul who truly served others above herself.
Besides her loving husband, Kevin E. Virgilio, she leaves behind three children, Michael A. Virgilio, Nicholas S. Virgilio, Tawny R. Simisky and her husband Alex J. Simisky, as well as her first grandchild due in January 2019 (Baby Simisky). Her brother Thomas Testone, sisters and brothers-in-law, Tina and Charlie Simpson, Leta and Mike Majchrowski, Mike Virgilio and partner Linda, and Dorise and Arthur Engelmann. Countless other family, friends, and others who loved her including Carol L. She brought light to this world and to everyone she met.
