Obituary for Lillian Stella ton Lillian Stella ton, 96, passed away on December 17, 2018, in Houston, Texas. Lillian was born on July 5, 1922 in Glenmora, Louisiana to Fletcher and Laura Addington. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 20, 2018, at 1st Presbyterian Church in Orange.

Officiating will be Reverend Mike Umbernhaur and JoNell Gerland. A graveside service and burial will be prior to the service, at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery. In 1929, Lillian moved to Orange, Texas.

On October 28, 1940, she married her lifelong sweetheart, Albert Lee ton. To this union, two sons were born, David Andrew ton and Dr. John Alan ton. Lillian was a devout Christian all her life and a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church.

She served her church in many capacities including Elder and Deacon and member of the Women’s Circle and Prayer Group. Lillian was a devoted wife of 73 years and devoted mother. She also participated as a teacher for the Red Cross Swimming Program in Orange for many years and was valedictorian of Orange Hill School Class of 1939.

Lillian is predeceased by her parents, husband, and brothers, Willard Robert Addington and Wilburn Fletcher Addington. She is survived by her two sons, David and wife Karen, & Alan and wife Jan; grandchildren, Jason ton and wife Alice, Adam ton, William ton and wife Karolyn, Laura Lagrasta and husband Mitch, Stefani Goldberg and husband Seth, Katherine and Eric Lange and Paul Allison; great grandchildren, Kailey Elizabeth ton, Denton Jacob Goldberg, Sarah Britton Lange, Cooper Andrew Goldberg; and nephew, Charles ton. Memorial donations may be made to Orange 1st Presbyterian Church at 902 Green Avenue, Orange, Texas 77630 or The Presbyterian Children’s Home at 4407 Bee Cave Road Suite 520, Austin, Texas 78746.
