Lillian A. Ueltschi Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved sister and aunt went home to the Lord on April 24, 2018, at the age of 89 years. Lillian A. Castle was born October 28, 1928, in Owosso, Michigan to the late Edgar and Elizabeth (Hollenback) Castle. At age 14 she was adopted into and loved by the Elmer and Frances Frahm family.

She was an active and vital part of family life for 8 nieces and nephews as our beloved “Aunt Doe”. On January 10, 1981, she married Frank Ueltschi, gaining additional nieces and nephews. Frank and Lillian enjoyed traveling in Europe and the South Pacific.

He predeceased her on April 8, 1997. Lillian retired from St. Mary’s Hospital, where she worked as a nurses aid for 24 years, and was also involved in the Auxiliary. She was active in Second Presbyterian church and served in the Presbyterian Women’s group.

She volunteered at HealthSource caring for the flower gardens and assisting with Monday Chapel services. She will be missed by her siblings, Herbert Castle, Ethel Lovelace, Ralph (Marilyn) Frahm; nieces and nephews, Susan (Henry) Dahl, W. Joseph (Brenda) Frahm, Barbara Frahm, Charles (Sally) Frahm, Thomas (Gail) Frahm, Ross Frahm, Jeffrey (Karen) Frahm, Eric (Teresa Crook) Frahm, Ronald (Debra) Penn, Charles Michael Penn, William (Brenda) Buchwald, John (Brenda) Hall, William Hall, Veronica Furlo, and Mary Frances Thomas; many great nieces and great nephews; and numerous great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Walter (Sally) Frahm, Frank Castle, Norman Castle, Beatrice Hale, James Castle.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Pastor Jerry Larkin will officiate with entombment in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
