Lillie Mae Simmons, 93, of South Beloit and formally of Belvidere, IL, died at 9:10 a.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Fair Oaks Rehab Center. Born on December 27, 1924 in Bennetsville, SC, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur and Mary (Brigman) Brigman. She married Derwood Goodwin Simmons on January 16, 1945 and was married forty-five years before his passing in 1990.

Lillie was a member of Victory Baptist Church in New Milford, IL.
