Lina Hulon Marley, 65, of Fayetteville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 22, 2018. Beloved wife, mother, sister and dear friend to all; Lina was a lifelong resident of Fayetteville and graduated from Massey Hill High School-Class of 1971. She retired from Haigh, Byrd and Lambert, CPA with 42 years of service.

Lina has been a member of Pearce’s Mill Fire Department Ladies Auxilliary since 1974. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends. Her children and grandchildren were the apple of her eye, and she was extremely proud of them and their accomplishments.

Lina’s love for others, sense of humor and wit, kindness, and her strong faith through adversity will be remembered and cherished by all who knew and loved her. Lina was preceded in death by her mother, Effie Robena Lowery; father, William Edward Hulon; and a sister, Effie Marie Moore. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 45 years, Ronnie A. Marley of the home; son, Bryan A. Marley and wife, Traci of Hope Mills; daughter, Misty M. Manning and husband, Tommie of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Ray Marley of Hope Mills, Addison Manning and Camden Manning, both of Fayetteville; a sister, Brenda Ross and husband, Danny of Fayetteville; brother-in-laws, Harrison Berry of Fayetteville, James Carlton Marley and wife, June of Fayetteville and Donnie J. Marley and wife, Rachel of Kinston; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.

The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2:45 pm Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Thomas Fortner officiating. Burial will be held at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lina’s memory to the Lake Lynn Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Fund 3363 Gillespie St. Fayetteville, NC 28306 or Pearce’s Mill Fire Department 168 Dedication Dr. Fayetteville, NC 28306.
