Linda A. Nazareth, 54, of Cumberland, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 9, 2018 Linda was born on July 31, 1963 and was a lifelong resident of Cumberland, RI. She worked at the Arc of Northern Rhode Island, a sheltered workshop for the developmentally disabled. Linda is survived by her siblings, Annette Nazareth (Roger Ferguson), Cynthia Nazareth Minor, Stephen Nazareth (Patricia); nieces and nephews whom she adored, Sarah, Stephanie, and Andrea Minor; Christopher and Matthew Nazareth and Arielle Nazareth Barber (Matthew Barber); Roger III and Caroline Ferguson.

She is recently predeceased by her parents, George and Dolores Nazareth. Linda was an active member of the SPRED (Special Religious Education) Program at St. Joan of Arc Church in Cumberland, and also severed as an acolyte there. Linda was a person who taught everyone she knew about unconditional love.

Linda never met a person she didn’t like. She never passed judgement. Linda truly looked for the good in others.

She loved to hug and oftentimes people were a surprised participant in Linda’s outward expression of love. Linda inspired everyone she came in contact with. Her infectious smile and hearty laugh warmed the hearts of many.

She smiled often and loved much. Linda was born into the perfect family, for each member needed exactly what Linda had to teach. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.

In lieu of flowers, please perform an act of kindness to honor the life that Linda lived. Do what is right and do what is good. Be kind and help others.

The world can always use one more kind person, like Linda.
