Lincoln – Arlene M. (Blodwell) Wyllie, 85, of Lincoln, died Monday, June 18, 2018, at home, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late William Y. Wyllie. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Joseph G. and Isobel (Young) Blodwell, she had lived in Lincoln for the past fifty years.

She enjoyed her home, was an avid reader and quilter, and loved music, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Jo-Ann Murphy, and her husband Kevin, of Little Compton, Robin Wyllie of Lincoln, and Laurie-Ann Flaxington, and her husband Richard, of Lincoln; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Flaxington, Katelyn Murphy and Michael Murphy. She was the mother of the late William G. Wyllie.

Her funeral service will be celebrated Friday, June 22, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Boulevard, East Providence, R.I. 02914 would be appreciated.
