Ethier, George P., Jr., 88, of Hoffman Avenue, Cranston, passed away on July 6th, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Concetta M. (Lapomarda) Ethier. George was born in Pawtucket, a son of the late George P. and Eleanor (Scarpetti) Ethier.

After serving in the US Navy on board the battleship USS New Jersey during the Korean War, he returned home and began his career as a steel worker until his retirement from the Newman-Crosby Manufacturing Company. George is survived by his sister, Lillian Kenoian, devoted cousin, Rosemarie (Sis) Emond, other cousins, nieces and nephews. The funeral for Mr. Ethier will be Tuesday, July 10th from the Manning Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa’s Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 11:00 AM.

Burial with full Military Honors will immediately follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be Monday, July 9th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
