John H. “Jack” Cleary of Pawtucket passed into eternal life on September 14, 2018. Jack was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late John J. Cleary and Lena (Shaw) Cleary and the sister of the late Marilyn Cleary. As a young man he loved going to the Providence Reds Hockey games.

His dad was the announcer of the games with George Patrick Duffy and they had a wonderful time together. Jack was a long time member of the ARC of the Blackstone Valley. While there he enjoyed a variety of tasks and enjoyment with the staff.

He had such pride in our country. Jack truly enjoyed the United States of America and everything it stood for. His love of country and his devotion to the ARC and the people there was truly special.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Jack on Saturday, October 6th at 10:00 am in St. Teresa’s Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. His calling hours will be on Friday, October 5th from 4-6pm in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited.
