Pascoag – Barbara L. Murray, 90, of Reservoir Road, died Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Burlington, Massachusetts Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late George and Mildred (Barber) Murray, she had lived in New Hampshire for many years, before moving to Pascoag twenty years ago. Miss Murray worked as a short order cook at Ziggy’s Restaurant, Pawtucket; and as a maintenance worker at Gillette Co., and Calcom in New Hampshire before retiring. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Salem Memorial Post #8546, V.F.W., Salem, New Hampshire.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Wayne A. Murray, and the sister of the late Myrtle Henry, Helen Lennon, George Murray, Jr., Lester Murray, George “Bud” Murray, Ruth Dolan Scolardi, and Everett Murray. Her funeral will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with the celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence.

Burial will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Saturday from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104 would be appreciated.
