Barbara Ann Michele Paine, of Pawtucket died on September 15, 2018. She was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Leo Paine and Margaret (Benn) Paine. Barbara was a special assistant to King Faisal of Saudi Arabia for over twenty years.

Barbara was a graduate of East High School in 1948 and Rhode Island College of Nursing. She is survived by her sister M. Mary Rebeck of Colorado and several nieces and nephews. Barbara was the sister of the late Josephine Moore, Virginia St. Pierre, Raymond Paine and George Paine.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara on Wednesday, September 19th at 11:00am in St. Teresa’s Church 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Her calling hours will be Wednesday from 9:00 am until 10:30 am in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited.
