Obituary for Linda Edmondson Buchanan Mrs. Linda Jane Edmondson Buchanan, age 68, of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at her home under the care and comfort of her loving family. Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.

Visitation will be at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. She was born February 22, 1950, in Eagleville, to the late Maggie Edmondson and Willis Ellis Jordan. She was retired from Singer Corporation, and worked in the cafeteria at the nursing home.

She was a faithful member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church in Chapel Hill. Preceding her in death was her husband, James Stanley Buchanan in 2013.

Survivors include two daughters, Shelia Buchanan, of Murfreesboro and Cathy Buchanan, of Streamwood, Illinois; a son, Dexter Buchanan, of Murfreesboro; sisters, Robbie (Charlie Frank) Jones, of Eagleville, Pearl Hurt, of Lewisburg, Lillian (Eddie) Madison, of California, and Janie Jordan, of Shelbyville; brothers, Roy (Shirley Reedy) Edmondson, of San Diego, California, and Dwayne Jordan, of Shelbyville; a granddaughter, Lanesa Buchanan.
