Linda Farrer Linda Patrice Liddle Farrer, age 74, of Bountiful, Utah, passed away peacefully at 4:30 a.m. in her home on Sunday, February 17, 2019 after years of extended illnesses. Linda was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Arthur Leroy Liddle and Marjorie Solomon. After attending BYU, she married J. Ross Farrer on December 1, 1969 in the Salt Lake City Temple.

This year would have been their 50th anniversary. Linda was a flight attendant before getting married. She loved it so much that she returned to it years later.

She considered this her favorite job. Then she operated her own business, The Nanny Connection, for 18 years until her retirement. She designed and was the general contractor for the home she lived in for 40 years.

She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She recently volunteered for Days for Girls, which provides supplies to make the lives of girls better around the world. Linda took great joy in spending time with her family, doing gardening, emergency preparedness, and serving in her church — especially in the Primary organization for children.

She was truly a disciple of the Savior Jesus Christ. She amazed us with her determination and dedication to preserve her life by making lifestyle and dietary changes as needed. She is survived by her husband Ross, and four children: Tamara, Evan (Emily), Tyler (Erin), and Colin (Samantha), as well as thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She has one living sister, Sharon (Quinn) Spencer, and is preceded in death by her sisters, Marjorie and Dona, and her parents. We give many thanks to the family, neighbors, friends, and medical professionals that assisted her and her family over the years. Her independent spirit, personality, and humor will be missed.

Linda loved flowers and helping those in need. Flowers or donations to the LDS Humanitarian Fund are welcome. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the North Canyon 3rd Ward Chapel, 2505 S. Davis Blvd.

Bountiful, Utah. Friends may visit family Friday, Feb 22nd from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Friday from 9:30- 10:30 am at the Church prior to services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
