Linda Gail Lawing Bailey, age 65, of Marion, NC passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at her home, with her family at her bedside. Linda was born June 22, 1953 in McDowell County, NC to the late Ronald Lawing and Lilly Stacey Lawing. She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and wife.

Linda was always there for her children, grandchildren and even their friends. Those left behind to cherish Linda’s memories are her beloved husband of 40 years, Ricky Bailey; three daughters, Trisha Bailey, Tabitha Bailey (Mark Wilmot) and Sharon Bailey (Jason Williams); her step-mother, Kay Lawing; three sisters, Pam Smith (Ervin), Sherry Edwards (Willie) and Jessica Thomas (Matt); nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Beam Funeral Service.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Linda’s life will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Travis Cooke officiating. Flowers are welcome or those wishing to make a donation in Linda’s memory are asked to consider, American Cancer Society, 120 Executive Park Bldg.
