Linda I. Romestan, 72, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Tuesday January 8, 2019 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH. She was born March 13, 1946 in Canonsburg, PA a daughter of the late Leanora “Rusty” Leanora Chome and William H. Gehrke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Romestan on June 15, 2016.

Linda was retired from both Trinity Medical Center West where she was the supervisor of admitting and Central Maine Medical in Lewiston, ME, where she was a medical records clerk. She graduated from Fort Cherry High school in 1964 and enjoyed birdwatching, people watching, traveling and crafting. She also enjoyed cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins.

Surviving are three children, Linda “Lea” (Ken) Feist of Steubenville, OH, Loni Romestan of Brilliant and Louis A. (Patricia) Romestan, II of Brilliant; four grandchildren, J. Feist, Zac, Rachel and Michael Romestan; and great-grandson, Tre` Feist-Winland. Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, on Saturday January 12th from 1-3 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. until the time of her funeral services at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. John Ater, officiating.
