Linda J. Rusk, 70, of Rock Island, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019 at her home. A funeral service for Linda will be held at 12:30 pm on Monday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave. , Rock Island.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

Linda was born on October 19, 1948 in Downing, MO, a daughter of Roy J. Gray and L. Joan (Derigo) Westmoreland. She married Carl Rusk on June 8, 1974 in Rock Island. Linda was a loving homemaker for her family.

Her greatest joys in life were her family and making others happy. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed working in the yard and caring for her home.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Carl; mother, L. Joan Westmoreland, Rock Island, step father, Sonny Westmoreland, Moline; children, Theresa Engholm, Rock Island, Troy Rusk, Missouri, Daren Van Pamel, Matherville and Dawn Schussler, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Doug Westmoreland and many other siblings, step siblings, half siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, dear friends, and her canine companion, Levi.
