Linda Lee Chaffin June 06, 1947 – May 25, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Linda Lee Chaffin, 71, of Hutchinson, died May 25, 2019, at her home. She was born June 6, 1947, in Alva, OK, the daughter of Walter M. and Bettye Jean (Howland) Miller. Linda attended Nickerson High School and worked as a CNA at Buhler Sunshine Home and then as a sales clerk at Benton Greenhouse.

She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Linda was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. In 1998 she married Jerry J. Chaffin in Hutchinson.

He died August 5, 2011. Linda is survived by: children, Sundi Reed, Holly Manche (Troy), Justin Franz, all of Hutchinson; grandchildren, L.J. Reed, Hutchinson, Cody Waters, Kansas City, MO, Jaiden Manche, Hutchinson; great-grandchildren, Mystery and Cash Reed, Oliver and Hudson Waters; sisters, Jacqulyn Konrade, Idaho Falls, ID, Sondra Price (Jerry), Iowa; brother, Walter L. Miller (Karen), Luther, OK; brother-in-law, Bill Burton, Dodge City; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Sandra Burton; brothers, Dale and Harold Miller; and granddaughter, Myesha Reed.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2019, at Elliott Chapel. Private family inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to Linda Chaffin Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
