Linda Loraine Johns Linda Loraine Johns 61, of Duncan, Oklahoma, was born on September 1, 1956 in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Luther “Gus” and Gladys (Plott) Stephens, after a two year battle against cancer, she went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 29, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Loren Swor officiating and interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Loraine attended Liberty school from K-8th. grade, and attended Comanche High School. In 1994, she went on to get her G.E.D. and completed two years of college at Cameron University.

Anyone who knew Loraine knew she loved her children with all her heart. Her love for all her family and friends was deep and she loved with every fiber of her being. She had a heart for the Lord.

Loraine loved to write and many of her writings were about her savior Jesus. She enjoyed having a good laugh, and making the best out of any situation, good or bad. She was a fighter and stood firm for what she believed in.

Loraine loved working outside and most of all spending time with her family. One of her last notes were, “Keep God in your thoughts at all times. Be thankful.

Call on God anytime. He loves us all! Amen” Loraine is survived by her daughter; Rachel Rollins and her husband Todd, her son; Kyle Donaldson and his wife Sabrina, and her daughter; Angela Cadell, her grandsons; Andrew Akers, Ryan Akers, her granddaughters; Macy Rae Rollins, and her two sisters; Kathy Mott and Deborah Smith, she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends that loved her so.

She was preceded in death by her daughter; Amy Diane Austin, her parents; Luther and Gladys Stephens and a brother; Joe Stephens. Pallbearers will be Danny Mott, Brad Beck, Kris Sears, Bryan Wagner, Matt Kaus and David Sink.
