Linda’s Obituary Linda Louise Meyers Linda Louise Meyers, age 75, a resident of Wheeling, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at her residence. Linda was born the daughter of Allen E. and Anna L. (Vickers) Griffith on June 8, 1943, in Raysal, West Virginia. She was united in marriage to Vernon “Dale” Meyers on March 27, 1963, in Belle, Missouri.

He preceded her in death on August 20, 2006. Linda worked as a baker for Walmart for 10 years. She was a member of the Wheeling Baptist Church, Wheeling, Missouri.

She served as a volunteer for Joy Toys for many years. Linda enjoyed crafting, cooking, flowers, and gardening. Survivors include two sons, Lynn Meyers and wife Marlo of Stewartsville, Missouri, and Keith Meyers and wife Carla of Wheeling, Missouri; two daughters, Rhonda Figg and husband Gerald Judy of Wheeling, Missouri, and Kristy Berry and husband Dave of Wheeling, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; three brothers, Roger Griffith of Bluefield, Virginia, Billy Griffith of Raysel, West Virginia, and “Sonny” Griffith of Tazewell, Virginia; two sisters, Ruth Evans of Linden, Indiana, and Drema Shuler of Sun City, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale; one son-in-law, Randy Figg; and three sisters, Phyllis Hampton, Sue Hatfield, and Donna Hagerman. A graveside service will be held at the Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri, on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, May 10, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Joy Toys of Chillicothe and/or Wheeling Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
