Linda Mae SinclairThompson died on March 3, 2019. She was born on April 5, 1942 to Troy Sinclair and Ophelia Harris Sinclair in Stuttgart. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Herbert and Charles William Sinclair.

She is survived by two children, Melinda (Terry) Carol Hodges-Crook and Troy (Amanda) Wayne Thompson; seven grandchildren, Jazmyn Rebecca Marie, Katelin Mae, Brandon Troy, Travis Wayne, Trent Wayne, Trevor Wayne, Autumn Cheyanne, and a host of nieces and nephews. Linda had a voice of an angel. She loved country, gospel, and blues music.

She was the star of the Louisiana Hayride in Monroe, LA. She performed at the Palomino Club in Hollywood, CA. She would open for stars like Ace Canon and Mac Davis.

She loved everyone and everyone loved her. Not only did she have a voice of an angel, she had a never-ending love of our Lord and Savior. Even until the end she was singing and saying that she couldn’t wait to sing to her Jesus at the gates of heaven.

The family would like to thank everyone for the love and support that they have received from so many people. Thank you to Grace Baptist Church of Scott, AR, Linda with CareLink, Baptist Hospital and Baptist Hospice. She fought until the very end, but she was also ready to go see Jesus.

Family was important to Linda; her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy. All she wanted was for everyone to love Jesus as much as she did. She wanted not only her family but all her friends to have a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, she was making sure that she would see them again when they die.

She would be waiting to see them in heaven; standing at the pearly gates waiting for them to come home. Visitation will be at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 10 am to 11 am. Funeral service will be Saturday, 11 am.

Linda’s final resting place will be Williams Cemetery in Humphrey, Arkansas following the service.
