She grew up in Brooklyn, where she graduated from F.D.R. High School. She furthered her education at Kingsborough College, where she graduated and went on to start her career with Blue Cross Blue Shield, where she remained for over twenty years.

She later met and married James Gummer and to this union, Jarrett Stephen Gummer was born. After deciding to expand her family, Linda gave birth to her second son, Jason Charles Coles. Linda later relocated to Texas with her sons and began working as a Senior Accountant for law and insurance firms.

Linda accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of The Church at Bethel’s Family, where she sang in the choir. Linda was a loving and caring person who touched the lives of many.

In her leisure she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
