Linda’s Obituary Williams, Linda Sue age 68 of Burton, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019. She is the daughter of the late George and Betty (Van Slyke) Ecker, December 14, 1950.

Linda graduated from Bentley High School in 1969 and was joined in marriage to her husband Michael on June 6, 1970. Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family. She enjoyed spending summers and vacations with family at Lake Michigan and traveling the country with her husband.

Linda worked for the Kmart Corp. for many years before retiring. She loved to sew and made wonderful costumes for her children and grandchildren.

Linda enjoyed baking and she always made sweet treats and the best pineapple upside down cake. Linda is survived by her husband of 48 years, Michael and two children daughter Tiffany Sprigg and Fred Behlen of Davison and Son Casey Williams of Flint, grandchildren Brooke (Carl) Adolph, Alicia Harding and Seth Hansen both of Arizona and Austin Williams of Flint. Great-grandson Landen Adolph and special friends Lisa and Rhian Halstead.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to sister-in-law Janie Harper for all the help in Linda’s time of need. Linda will be missed immensely but will always live on in our hearts. She is proceeded on death by parents and brothers John and Theodore Ecker.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
