Obituary of Linda Reinhardt FRANKFORT – Mrs. Linda J. (Cioch) Reinhardt, age 65, a lifelong resident of the Town of Frankfort, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, January 19, 2019 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica. Born on March 22, 1953, Linda was the daughter of the late Mitchell and Elizabeth (Mullaney) Cioch. She was raised in Frankfort and graduated from Frankfort-Schuyler High School.

On May 22, 1976, Linda was united in marriage to Gary P. Reinhardt at the North Columbia Church, and together they shared in a blessed and devoted union of over forty-two years. Linda was a hardworking woman and for over twenty-five years she was employed with the MetLife Insurance Company in Utica. She then went on to accept a position with Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, where she served as the Medical Staff Coordinator for eighteen years until her retirement in April of 2016.

Life’s simple gifts were something that Linda truly knew how to enjoy. She was most content when spending time at her home and could often be found sitting on her patio with a glass of wine, mowing her well-manicured lawn or tending to her flowers and beloved ferns. She was a woman of faith and family and she enjoyed travelling.

Her presence will be missed but her memory shall live on in the hearts of her husband, daughter and granddaughters forever. She is survived by her husband, Gary; her daughter and son-in-law, Raquel “Rocky” and Ted Kocab of Richmond, RI; her granddaughters, Sophia, Isabella and Olivia; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Joanne and Donald Hoskey of Ilion and Diane and Barry Williams of Herkimer; and her best friend, Christine Eichler of Utica. She also leaves her in-laws, David Reinhardt of Utica, Katherine Reinhardt of Wisconsin, Earl and Carole Haman of Schuyler, Fred Reinhardt of Schuyler, Neil and June Reinhardt of Louisville, Kentucky, and Gene and Diana Reinhardt of Flemington, New Jersey; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Jim Ferguson; and her in-laws, Norman Reinhardt, Elizabeth Reinhardt, Carleton Reinhardt and Mary Reinhardt. In keeping with Linda’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services at this time. A graveside service will take place in the spring in Frankfort Center Cemetery.

For those wishing to do so, please consider memorial contributions to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
