DOLGEVILLE – Shirley M. Schuyler, 87 of Dutchtown Road, Dolgeville, NY and for many years of the Snells Bush Road, Town of Manheim passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Little Falls Hospital. She was born on November 10, 1931 in Heuvelton, NY the daughter of the late Thomas Lundy Bush and Ruth (Palmer) Bush Perry. She was a graduate of Dolgeville High School Class of 1950.

On November 11, 1950 she was united in marriage to her husband of 57 years Kenneth G. Schuyler at the First Presbyterian Church, Dolgeville. Mr. Schuyler predeceased her on November 27, 2007. Mrs. Schuyler was an active member of the Auskerada, Maquaes, Rock City Chapter # 204, OES, Dolgeville where she served a Matron in 1984, 86, 96, 98 and 1999.

She was also Past Grand Representative of Mississippi. She was employed at one time by the Herkimer County Office of the Aging. She is survived by her son, Danny L. Schuyler and his wife Nancy, Dolgeville, her daughters, Deborah A. Briggs and her husband Steven, Mohawk and Donna L. Crawford and her husband Leonard, Dolgeville, her brother, Gary Bush (Sally), Fly Creek, NY, nine grandchildren Jody Schuyler (Jennifer), Dana Schuyler, Sara Busch (Gary), Erin Thayer (Christopher), Courtney Briggs (Rob Selva), Erica Briggs, Alexandra Ulinski (Darcsy), Rodney Schuyler (Marge) and Maxamillion Crawford, great grandchildren, Adam and Nichols Schuyler, Daniel, Hannah and Abigail Busch, Andrea, Anna and Kenneth Thayer, Donovan and Rae-Lynn Selva and Natalie Schuyler and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son Kenneth Schuyler, Jr., her daughter Holly Ann Schuyler, her brothers and sisters in law, Leonard and Antoinette Bush and Lawrence and Rose Bush. Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY.

There are no calling hours. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Schuyler be considered to the Auskerada, Maquaes, Rock City Chapter # 204, 106 S. Main St., Dolgeville, NY 13329. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
