Obituary of Linda Fleury We are celebrating life for Linda Lee Fleury (Lindy) as she went to be with Jesus on June 19 2018. Her parents were George and Barbara Hardie. She was born on July 28, 1945 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

She is survived by her husband Henry Rene Fleury Jr. (Hank), her 3 children: Lisa Stamp, Marc and his wife Vivien Wilson, and Danny Wilson; 2 step-daughters: Lacinda and Kim; 17 grandchildren: Devin, Sarah, Jordan, Amber, Ashley, Joey, Faith, Sarah, Nicole, Nathan, Maya, Megan, Leah, Chloe, Aubrey, Katie, and Patty; 5 great-grandchildren: Emily, Melina, AJ, Taylin, and Anastasia; as well as her siblings: Phil, Debbie, and Traci. She was preceded in death by her parents. Linda was a modest, accomplished women.

Family and music were foremost in her life. All her children’s friends knew her as “mom”. Her heart was too big for her.

She would give and go without herself and not complain. What she could do with meager means was amazing. She was in Who’s Who, a singer-songwriter, church pastor in Virginia, activity director, and was given numerous awards.

She created Christmas floats, was the owner of Rainbows End Gift Shop, she won awards for her poetry, organized and ran a food bank, and the list goes on. Linda was strong in her faith and encouraged many to seek Jesus. Her gospel music ministry began in Virginia, and from there went to West Virginia, then on to Florida and ended here in Washington.

When she sang, she sang from the heart and people could feel the Spirit in her. God used her and gave her a healing ministry. Through her there were healings, and because of it some people came to know Jesus.

A memorial of Linda’s life will take place on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2 PM at the Fourth Plain Church of the Nazarene, lead by pastor Lyle Coblentz. All are welcome. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
