Lois A. Wood, 84 of Jordan passed away Monday in the comfort of her home surrounded by loving family. Born in Rome, NY, Lois lived most of her life in Jordan. Following graduation from Jordan High School in 1952, Lois served her country in the US Army (WAC) being honorably discharged in 1959.

Lois was retired from General Electric Co She enjoyed the outdoors especially camping, fishing and woodworking. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Thelma Wood, 2 brothers Edwin and Maurice Wood, sister-in-law Shirley Wood.

Surviving are 2 sisters Pauline (John) Condes and Marsha (Daniel) Edgbert, a brother Gordon Wood all of Weedsport, a sister-in-law Amber Wood of Fla. , several nieces and nephews. Spring graveside services will be in Redfield Village Cemetery.

No calling hours. Family wishes to extend a special thank you to Cheryl and Katrina of Hospice for their care and support. Contributions may be made to the Jordan Fire Dept.
