Obituary for Lois Hubbard (Eaton) Lois C. Hubbard, 80, of Wells, died peacefully on Friday, October 5, 2018 at York Hospital. She was born in Kennebunk on March 29, 1938, a daughter of Lawrence and Lillian (Towne) Eaton. Educated locally, she graduated from Kennebunk High School.

In her early years, she was a waitress at Cozy Corner in Wells. She then became the bookkeeper for the 45 years her husband owned and operated Hubbard’s Garage in Wells. Throughout all her hard work, she was an excellent homemaker, raising her eight children.

Lois was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the Trailblazers. She is predeceased by two brothers, Randy and Sonny Eaton; her sister, Betty Eaton. Lois is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Vernon Eugene Hubbard of Wells; five sons, Dale Hubbard and wife Julie of Wells, Mark Hubbard of Wells, Todd Hubbard and wife Leslie of Wells, Shawn Hubbard and wife Lisa of Shapleigh, Patrick Hubbard of Wells; three daughters, Kelly Dore and husband William of Wells, Terri Keene of Wells, Mona Hubbard of Wells; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
