Obituary for Lois G. Greenblott Lois Garek Greenblott passed away peacefully in her home at age 83, early Sunday morning, September 23, 2018. Preceded in death by her father and mother, Morris and Rose Garek, husband Harry Greenblott, brother Robert Garek, and daughter Karen Shenk, Tedeschi. Survived by son Andrew (Carrie) Madison and children Marissa and Jack, daughter Patti (Alan) Masarek and children Jordan and Eric, Jared, son Tim Madison and children Jonah, Canaan, Natalie, Grace and Tess, daughter Pam (Neil) Lazaroff and children Josh, Jeff and David, son Frank Mellman, son Stan (Candi) Greenblott, and children Austin and Amy, Adam, son Ken (Lori) Greenblott and children Ian, Mia, Amy and Zoe, daughter Dawn Patel, and sister Diane Garek.

She often said how lucky she was to have so many adoring grandchildren. Lois lived her entire life in Bexley, OH and graduated from Bexley High School. She attended Pine Manor College in Brookline, MA.

Her greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She was a wonderful cook and loved having her extended family all together for holidays. Lois had a very successful real estate career, and earlier in life, was very active in the Temple Israel Sisterhood.

Lois loved her Ohio State Buckeyes and was able to cheer them on Saturday one last time! She also loved her card games with her first husband David, traveling with her second husband, Harry, and spending winters in Florida with friends and family. Her greatest attribute was her loyalty to family and friends.

Lois and the family wished to thank caregivers Esther and Gertrude for providing comfort and love. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 10:30am at the New Temple Israel Cemetery, 2565 Performance Way, Columbus.

Immediately following the service, the family invites you to a meal and Kaddish from noon to 3:00pm at Wexner Heritage House, 1151 College Ave. , Columbus, OH 43209. Shiva will be held Wednesday evening at Wexner Heritage House from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with Kaddish at 6:30pm.

, and Thursday evening 6:00pm to 8:00pm with Kaddish at 6:30pm at the Alexander, 500 S. Parkview Ave. , Bexley 43209. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Temple Israel Sisterhood, 431 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215, or the Arthur C. James Cancer Hospital, 460 W. 10th Ave.
