Lois Mae Long March 21, 1942 – May 18, 2019 Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Lois Mae Long daughter of the late Zella Norma Buxton and Montie Earl Martin was born in Ellington, Missouri, on March 21, 1942. She departed this life at her residence in Ellington, Missouri, on May 18, 2019, having attained the age of 77 years, 1 month and 27 days. On February 16, 1979 in Ellington, Missouri, Lois was united in marriage to Bud Long to this loving union one daughter was born.

Bud preceded her in death on September 5, 2018. Lois was a member of the Ellington First Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and playing bingo.

Lois’ greatest joy was spending time with her family. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by one daughter, Debra Williams of Ellington, Missouri, one step-daughter, Carolyn Ennis of North Highlands, California, one step-son, John Long of Bland, Missouri, five brothers, John Robert Martin of Piedmont, Missouri, Clifford Martin of Centerville, Missouri, Wayne Martin of Joplin, Missouri, Leroy Martin of Joplin, Missouri and Carl Martin of San Antonia, Texas, two sisters, Caroline Kimes of Piedmont, Missouri and Joyce Wagner of Ellington, Missouri, four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Lois will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn her passing.
