OBITUARY Lois Rachel McNaughton June 12, 1933 – September 28, 2018 Lois R. McNaughton, formerly Lois Lidtke, 85, of Beaverton, Oregon, passed away on September 28, 2018. She was born in Avon, South Dakota on June 12, 1933. Lois Lidtke graduated from Salem Academy and received a BA from Western Oregon College and an MA from San Francisco State University.

She married Stu McNaughton on March 14, 1970. Lois taught lower grades in Fall Creek, Oregon and Harris Grade School in Eugene, Oregon, and at Holliday Center, West Sylvan and Sylvan grade schools in Portland. She was a member of the Portland chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society, and volunteered at her church, Cooper Mountain Presbyterian Fellowship.

While Lois had no children, she was loved by a niece and three nephews, and four step-children, and is survived by her brother Vernon Lidtke of Baltimore. Lois enjoyed knitting and other craft-related hobbies, and sailing activities. She was always warm and friendly to others and quick to make friends and be a helper to other people.

A memorial service will be held at Lovers of the Holy Cross of Thu Thiem, formerly Cooper Mountain Presbyterian Fellowship at Farmington Road and SW 201st Avenue in Aloha, Oregon.
