OBITUARY Lois M. Rogers July 16, 1930 – November 21, 2018 Mrs. Lois M. Rogers, formerly of Attalla passed away peacefully on November 21, 2018 at the age of 88. Her funeral service will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Sunday December 2, 2018 at 2 P.M. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home Sunday from 12 Noon to 2 P.M., prior to the service in the chapel. Graveside service and interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Lois was a longtime member of Twelfth Street Baptist Church. Those preceding her in death include her beloved husband, Edgar R. Rogers, Jr.; sister, Jane Miller; and brother, William Thales McCoig. Mrs. Rogers leaves behind; Her son, Edgar R. Rogers, III (Wife, Karen) of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Mary Strange; granddaughters, Sarah Catherine Rogers and Kelsey Elizabeth Rogers.

Along with many friends and extended family members. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff of Alive Hospice and also to the staff of Helping Hands, especially Barbara Richards and ReShena Barnes. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
