She was born February 27, 1938 in Garrison, Kentucky, the daughter of John and Rettie (Jenkins) Madden. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William E. Rogers; her parents, John and Rettie Madden; her son, William H. Rogers; her daughter, Deborah (Rogers) Weybright; granddaughter, Cassie May Rogers; brothers William Taulbe, Jessie Taulbe, Tobiatha Taulbe, Robert Madden, Leo Madden, and Joe Madden; sisters Mabel (Taulbe) Taylor, Jean (Taulbe) Noel, Lucinda (Taulbe) Fraley, Aggie Taulbe, Katie Madden, and Goldie Madden.

Lois was fun loving, creative, generous; her passion was her family and she served them with all her heart and ability. She died peacefully at home, surrounded by loving family. She is survived by her daughter, Diana (Kenneth) Kaasik; son in law, Timothy Weybright; sister Elizabeth Noel; grandsons Jerod (Amie) Brewer; Jason (Wendy) Brewer, Gary (Ashley) Brewer; Joshua (Dana) Kaasik; granddaughters Rebecca (Joseph) Tussey; Anna (Björn) Andersen; Simkah Kaasik; 15 great- grandchildren, Justice, Jerod “Bub”, Ben, Cassie, Sophia, Tyler, Hannah, Austin, Adrianna, Angel, Katelynn, Aidan, Adreana, Eli, Elise; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Nathan, Braiden and Arabella; and many dear nieces and nephews.
