Hartford: Lola Nadine Evans, 91, passed away at 2:42pm on Monday, November 19, 2018, at Integrity of Wood River. She was born on October 19, 1927, in East Prairie, Missouri, the daughter of the late John and Elva (Coats) Clifft. She married Jewel Shelby Evans on August 15, 1946, in East Prairie, and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2015.

Survivors include four daughters and two sons in law: Brenda and Bobby Pence of South Roxana, Glenda Eaton of Wood River, Shelby and Don… Read More » Jacoby of Hartford, Karen Grigg of Godfrey, two sons and daughters in law: Michael and Vickie Evans of Edwardsville, Dickie and Kathy Evans of Wood River, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great – great grandchildren, two sisters: Johnny Preson, Ronnie Hurley, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Nadine was formerly employed at Bosman Shoe Factory in St. Louis. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren: Shane Christopher Evans, Caleb Craig Evans, one brother: J.W. Evans, four sisters: Vernetta, Castella, Novalene, Uretta, a half – brother: Rodney, a half – sister: Pearl.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Private family services will be held. Private inurnment will be at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
