Bond, Jr., age 82, of Tuscaloosa, passed away on December 26, 2018 at UAB Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Bond; daughter, Melissa Lee and her husband Kang; sons, Kevin Bond and his wife Cherry, Tim Bacon and his wife Kim, and Ken Bacon; brothers, Corbie Bond and Ken Bond; and 6 grandchildren, Mathew Bacon, Natalie Ellis, Xander Bond, Rachel Bond, Ian Lee and Sophie Lee. After his retirement, his greatest joy was traveling to see family and exploring from coast to coast.

He cherished his time with his grandchildren and had a great love for home, friends and family.
